Taste of South Mississippi tomorrow

Get ready to get your grub on: the Taste of South Mississippi returns tomorrow at the Salvation Army Kroc Center.
Twenty eight restaurants will be in attendance to serve a taste of their specialty. Tickets are $30 and there will be a silent auction and a live band. Proceeds will go towards the Salvation Army’s youth programs and scholarship funds.
Major Gary Sturdivant tells News 25 this event is beneficial to both the Salvation Army and the restaurants. “It’s a benefit to us, but I believe it’s a benefit to a new restaurant or one that is not well known. It’s helpful to them as well.”
