Taser Death over the Weekend

According to Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove, the  53-year-old man who died after being tased by Gulfport police has been identified as Bradford Macomber of Gulfport.

According to police, officers responded to a disorderly conduct call at the new Shaggy’s in Gulfport where they found the man who was resistant so officers used the stun gun to subdue him. Police say he continued to act erratically so AMR was called to the scene. The suspect was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

As with any officer-involved death, the District Attorney’s Office and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation have now taken over the case.
