Talla Pointe resident catches blaze on Ring camera

One homeowner in the Talla Pointe neighborhood shared his Ring camera footage of the flames moving dangerously close to his home.

Earl Evans tells WXXV News 25 he was in Florida on Thursday when we got word of the fire near his home.

He checked his Ring cameras, showing the flames up to his backyard fence line.

Evans is feeling grateful for the first responders and neighbors who worked together to limit the damage and save homes in the neighborhood.

The one thing Evans will have to replace is his backyard fence, which was decimated by the blaze.
