Officials are predicting shelter doors will be open more this year than before, at a great cost to the organizations running them.
Near freezing temperatures mean cold weather shelters across the Coast are opening up to help local homeless people.
Harrison County Supervisor of District 1, Windy Swetman, announces that a Cold Weather Shelter will be open at the Kenny Fournier Multi-Purpose Center 10395 Automall Parkway, D’Iberville on Thursday, November 13th and Friday, November 14th.
The Salvation Army Cold Weather Shelters in Gulfport and Pascagoula will be open due to predicted cold temperatures on Thursday, November 13th and Friday, November 14th, 2014.
