Tablet training for poll workers in preparation for primary elections
Harrison County poll workers are being trained to use tablets at their precincts next week.
Leading up to the primary election on Tuesday, August 8th, more than 150 workers have attended training through Harrison County on how to use a tablet to check-in people voting on Election Day.
The tablets are expected to be very user-friendly and will help speed up the process when preparing to vote at the polls.
There’s an option to scan the barcode on the voter’s license to receive information and voters can physically sign their signature on the tablet.
Today, six people joined Harrison County Circuit Clerk Connie Ladner and were very receptive to the training.
