Swift Water Rescue

Sunday around 4-pm D’Iberville police responded to three young adults trapped in the high current of the Tuxachanie Creek. According to officials the 3 were kayaking in the creek when it overturned. One of the stranded kayakers was able to call for help, and with the help of first responders all 3 kayakers were pulled to safety. The three were then seen by AMR, evaluated, and released.
