Sweaters for Veterans

It is the season of giving and Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Homes did just that for our veterans at the Biloxi VA.
Since the beginning of Veterans day, the funeral home began collecting sweaters, jackets, and coats for veterans to provide to them for the colder weather. For the past few weeks since the donation drive has been open, they were able to collect hundreds of clothes and packed over 100 bags. Today, they were delivered to the VA hospital in Biloxi.
Jeff O’Keefe Jr. tells News 25 it’s a great feeling to be able to provide clothing to those who fought for our freedom. “Oh, it’s awesome. It’s been a lot of work, but you know, it’s mainly just an accepting, a consolidating and then a giving back. I’m just really thankful that we were able to work as an avenue for that.”
O’Keefe explains they’ve been doing this donation drive for the past four years and the donations get bigger every year.
