Swearing in ceremony for Judge Randi Mueller at Jones Park
Governor Tate Reeves, along with state judges, family, and friends, gathered at Jones Park in Gulfport this afternoon to welcome the newest circuit court judge for the second district.
Standing next to her husband and son, Randi Mueller took the oath of office to formally begin her new role serving the citizens of Hancock, Harrison, and Stone counties.
Governor Reeves praised Mueller’s knowledge in various sections of the law and commitment to a fair justice system for all Mississippians.
As she begins her new role, Mueller says her goal is to be an efficient judge. “I truly believe that justice delayed is justice denied, so I intend to keep the cases that are before me moving, because letting them sit on your docket and wait around is not fair to the parties and the citizens of the court.”
Judge Mueller is a native of Biloxi and University of Mississippi Law School graduate. Prior to her appointment to this role, she served as an attorney in private practice.
