Suspects in Lincoln County shooting arrested in Gulfport

Gulfport Police arrested two suspects wanted in Lincoln County in connection with a homicide.

Police on Monday arrested 21-year-old James Robinson and 20-year-old Jadahn Brooks. Both are charged with homicide and held for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to the scene of a shooting on December 28.

A witness saw a suspect standing in the road and shoot several times into the vehicle. He was then picked up by another vehicle and they sped off.

Deputies found a victim dead in the first vehicle.

Robinson and Brooks were developed as suspects and Lincoln County alerted Gulfport that they could be headed to the Coast, as they had family ties here.

Gulfport Police saw the suspects and made a traffic stop, taking the suspects into custody without incident.
