Suspect injured in officer-involved shooting in Harrison County

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- An officer-involved shooting is under investigation in Harrison County.

Deputies with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call on Robinson Road Thursday afternoon.

During that response, a shooting occurred involving law enforcement.

Officials say no deputies were injured. The suspect was transported to a local hospital. Their condition has not yet been released.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is now leading the investigation. No additional details have been released at this time.
