Suspect in weekend armed robbery in Jackson County is in custody

A suspect in an armed robbery is in custody in Jackson County.
Jackson County jail docket shows 31-year-old Dakkoda Stirewalt was booked in on Monday, charged with the armed robbery of an individual of his vehicle. The robbery occurred on Heathcliff Drive in the Helena community in the early morning hours Saturday.
Investigators later recovered the vehicle.
Jackson County Sheriff John Ledbetter said Stirewalt was arrested Monday evening in George County. The homeowner, 42-year-old Michelle Walker, also was arrested and charged with hindering prosecution for harboring a known fugitive. Both are awaiting initial court hearings.
Stirewalt has visible horn tattoos on his forehead and was recently released from prison on unrelated charges.
A second suspect in the crime, 26-year-old Zane Frankum was arrested at his Moss Point home Saturday morning. Frankum is held in the Jackson County jail after being denied bond on Monday.
