Suspect in Pascagoula Gas Station Shooting Turned Himself In

Taurus Richardson, the suspect in the Pascagoula Exxon shooting, turned himself in for the aggravated assault charge for shooting 22-year-old Spencer Garrett.
The Moss Point native was shot multiple times and was transported to Singing River Hospital where he is currently being treated for gunshot wounds. Community members are still in shock that something so dangerous happened in their neighborhood and some are too afraid to come back to the gas station. “I’m too scared to come back. I’m really scared and when I heard there was a shooting, I’m shaking already. I’m really terrified because everywhere you go there’s a shooting,” said Moss Point resident Dorine Bowman.
Richardson’s charges were dropped to aggravated assault from attempted murder.
