Suspect in Gulfport drive-by shooting in custody

Gulfport Police on Saturday night announced the arrest of a third suspect wanted in a drive-by shooting on Faust Drive.

Alphonso Jerome Elzy Jr., 17,  was developed as a suspect in the drive-by. A felony warrant through the Gulfport Police, who took him into custody late Saturday night on felony charges.

Two other teenagers were arrested July 24, charged with three counts each of aggravated assault — 16-year-old Antonio Demarcus Harper and 18-year-old Bruce Ellis Lowery .

Harper and Lowery were taken taken to the Harrison County jail to be held in lieu of their $750,000 bonds.
