Suspect in aggravated assault case turns himself in to Gulfport Police
A suspect wanted on six counts of aggravated assault has turned himself in to Gulfport Police.
19-year-old Jabari Whitehead is in the Harrison County jail with bond set at $600,000 after surrendering to Gulfport Police this morning.
He was booked in at 11:40 a.m.
Whitehead was being sought by police after a July 27 incident near the intersection of 33rd Avenue and 24th Street in which he is suspected of firing into a vehicle with multiple occupants.
