Suspect in Gulfport homicide arrested

The suspect wanted in the overnight homicide in Gulfport is now in custody.
Police say 44-year-old Marcos Hosey was arrested without incident this morning. Hosey is accused in the shooting death of Arthur Etheridge at the O’Neal Road Apartments. Police say the shooting happened around 1 a.m.
Etheridge was transported to Garden Park by private vehicle where he was pronounced dead. Police are set to release more information about the shooting and Hosey’s arrest later this afternoon.
