Supply Drive for Flood Victims This Weekend

Three hundred people are still in shelters and 45,000 are without regular water services after floods devastated South Carolina last week.
This weekend, the New Vision Ministries will be hosting a supply drive at the Home Depot on Highway 49 in Gulfport. They are devoted to helping those in need on the East Coast and are asking the community to donate food, water, clothes or any other supplies they can.
Chaplain Wanderson Felix tells News 25 we know what disaster feels like here on the Coast and is asking the community to come together to help others. “I’m inspired by my pastor. He’s a Katrina survivor. We are asking the community that knows how hard life is after a natural disaster to join us this weekend to raise all the food and all the donations that we can get to minimize the suffering of those families in South Carolina.”
That drive will be all weekend at the Home Depot on Highway 49 and those from the New Vision Ministries are asking you to donate any supplies you can.
