Sunset cruise launches from Gulfport at 7 p.m.

It looks like it’s shaping up to be a picture perfect day for a sunset cruise in South Mississippi.

If that’s something you’d like to do, you’re in luck. Today, Ship Island Excursions is launching its first ever regularly scheduled evening sunset cruise trip out into the waters of the Mississippi Sound.

The ship will depart from the Gulfport Yacht Harbor, located at the intersection of Highway 49 and Highway 90 in Gulfport at 7 p.m. but if you’d like to go, it’s a good idea to try to get there 30 minutes early.

Tickets are limited due to COVID social distancing guidelines. If you’d like to reserve tickets you can head on over to msshipisland.com. Depending on availability tickets can be purchased on site.

The cruise is two hours long and will take you along the Gulfport waterfront.

Drinks will also be available at the bar. Admission is $24 a person for the sunset cruise.
