Suns Set on the Shuckers

The Biloxi Shuckers fell to the Jacksonville Suns tonight with a score of 9-1.
It was the second game in the five game series against Jacksonville. Last night, the Shuckers were on the other side of a 9-1 score, but the Suns bats were hot tonight while Biloxi’s lone run came from a solo home run courtesy of Brandon Macias.
Biloxi now sits at 19 wins on the season. Biloxi Shuckers Manager Mike Guerrero said, “The challenge is that baseball, you have to go and accomplish every night. It’s not just one day a week. So, every night you have to go out there and perform so as consistent as you get, as quick as you get to the big leagues.”
Tomorrow, the Biloxi Shuckers take on Jacksonville again. The first pitch is set for 7:10 p.m. at MGM Park, wrapping up the first of four series between the two teams during the 2016 season.
