Summerfield Senior Living in Gulfport breaks ground on independent living villas

Summerfield Senior Living in Gulfport is expanding to meet the growing demand for independent living options.

Earlier today, they broke ground on the Independent Living Villas which are set to be completed later this year.

Summerfield Senior Living opened its doors just two years ago in a residential area in north Gulfport.

They’re already operating fully in their assisted living, independent living, and memory care units. The allure of independent living lies in the freedom from daily chores and responsibilities.

However, what truly sets Summerfield apart from other facilities on the Coast is its commitment to providing exceptional outdoor amenities. Community Relations Director Susan Jones said, “You want to be part of the community, have social interaction with other individuals, maybe share a meal with them in the dining room, and enjoy all of our outdoor amenities. We have a putting green. We have a bocce ball court. We have a barn with animals. We have horses and cows that live here. So, we’re excited to offer something that has never been seen before on the Gulf Coast.”

Summerfield Senior Living is building ten additional villas on the property. They aim to provide residents with a comfortable, convenient living environment, and an engaging and vibrant community.
