Summer Fair kicks off at the Coast Coliseum
The Summer Fair is in full swing at the Coast Coliseum.
This fair has been around for 36 years, making it a staple for generations.
A fair is the perfect place for thrill seekers, but also has live music and karaoke, a magician, and a petting zoo for those looking for a more laid-back experience.
And you can’t forget fair food! It’s a delicacy you can only get a couple times a year.
The fair isn’t just fun for locals though. Joe Fanwick and his family are visiting the Coast from Indiana. They’re experiencing the Summer Fair for the first time. “We have a small fair, and it’s only, I think, a weekend, maybe four days or something. And, so, we’re down here just looking for a good time and we were just driving by, and this looked like it. Down here on the coast there are a lot of things for the family to do.”
Fairgoer Aaron Cayton said, “That ride I was just on it was making me spin fast… making it spin fast.”
Even though that ride got him a bit dizzy, Aaron was ready for the next one.
The Summer Fair is running through June 18th at the Coast Coliseum.
