Summer campers attend YMCA Back-to-School foam party

Rain did not stop summer campers from enjoying a back-to-school foam party in Ocean Springs today.

More than 200 children from four different summer camps in Ocean Springs, east Hancock, Biloxi, and Vancleave, enjoyed getting not only foamed, but jumping in bouncy houses, playing on slip n’ slides, playing multiple yard games, and a hula hoop contest at Freedom Field.

Gulf Coast Foam Party is a Gulfport business that cut a deal for the camp as a way to contribute.

They got a bit of a late start, but the kids and their summer counselors continued to have fun until 3 p.m., regardless of the weather.
