Success Women’s Conference 2016

Hundreds of women filled into the IP Casino today for a chance to connect and empower other women.
This was the goal of the 2016 Success Women’s Conference as over 22 speakers took the stage to encourage women to set goals and follow them. This was just one of several topics geared toward the ladies.
Forty-five women were honored for their investment in the community and their mentorship of other women. Cheryl Jackson Cooper took home the top award. “I really had a hard time believing it. It was truly a surprise and a shock because I was so impressed with all of the other women that I heard about today and I just really had people in my mind picked that I thought would be the recipients and it wasn’t me.”
Expo booths were also set up and the days keynote speaker was Shark Tank survivor Kim Nelson, the owner of Daisy Cakes in South Carolina.
