Students take part in field delivery training with Jackson County Fire Protection Team
JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Jackson County Fire Protection Team is hosting field training for drivers and operators of aerial apparatus.
Students spent the last few days sitting through lectures and completing skill activities. Those include aerial device inspections, stabilization, maneuvering, and operating.
Other departments also took part, including students from Pascagoula, Ocean Springs, Biloxi, and D’Iberville.
In total, the class was maxed out at 20 students. The next step is certification testing on Monday.
