Students Return To Class Today

Students are back in school in North Gulfport today after a scary day Thursday when a student was arrested after bringing a gun to school.
A 14-year-old was taken into custody for bringing a loaded gun, 100 rounds of ammunition, extra magazines, and a mask into the school. Initial reports say he obtained that gun from a relative’s house. However, the reason for why the student brought the gun to school is still unclear.
Police say there is no reason to believe there is any further threat at the school.
