Students lend a hand during community cleanup
Over at DeLisle Elementary, students were taking part in their annual field day, but some students decided to forgo the fun to lend a helping hand.
Dressed in full field day attire, a group of students walked across the street to assist with the Waste Management Cleanup.
Each kid got a grabber and got down to work, making sure that the lot across from their school looks top notch!
Second grader Khloe Williams even took this chance to learn a little bit about recycling from Waste Management. “Trash is more important than playing. We were talking about recycling and all that kind of stuff. I learned a lot of things.”
