Students honoring first responders through Women of Wisdom event
Hope Academy students spent time this week decorating cards for first responders.
Women of Wisdom is sponsoring an event this year honoring the heroes ahead of the 23rd anniversary of the September 11th attacks.
They will provide over a thousand first responders with gift bags including thank you cards from students and providing lunch for all men and women in service.
Volunteers are needed for the supply organizing day Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. Women of Wisdom are set to deliver those gift bags to first responders on Monday, September 9th.
