Students design underwater gliders

Gifted Woolmarket students put their projects to the test this morning at the Biloxi Natatorium.
The students spent the last month in groups building underwater gliders which collect temperature and pressure data as they move through the water. Groups tested their sea gliders alongside a Coast engineer from the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory who has been working with the kids on this project.
