Striping work on Government Street continues in Ocean Springs

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- Road work that began Monday in Ocean Springs is scheduled to continue Tuesday.

Road striping work on Government Street from Washington Avenue to Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd began Monday morning in Downtown Ocean Springs and will continue Tuesday beginning at 5:30 a.m.

There will be no parking in that area until the work is done.

Motorists should use caution around crews and expect delays on Government Street during this work.

This is part of the larger paving project that has been happening in that area as of late.
