Storms Covered North Gulfport Early this Afternoon

Homes, schools and businesses in the Saucier and North Gulfport area were rattling as thunder and lightning covered the area and dark clouds swirled overhead.
Storm clouds loomed over the area and rain made roads slick and, at some times, hard to drive. There was at least one accident on Highway 49 this afternoon as a truck slid off the road into a median ditch. No injuries were reported.
