Storm Damage Numbers Updated

The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency has released an update on just how many homes were damaged from this weekend’s storms.

More than 14-hundred homes were damaged in eight counties, 715 of them were destroyed or sustained major damage.
According to the Dixie Electric Power Association, there are still an estimated 1,180 residents without power, those residents are mostly in the Hattiesburg area.
