Stone County School District shares update on progress of new high school

STONE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Stone County School District is sharing their progress report for the new high school.

School officials say the interior finishes, light fixtures, and toilets are being installed in the academic building.

For the cafeteria, interior finishes are in progress.

The gym roof is nearing completion, lights have been installed on the football field, and topsoil and sod are being placed in the courtyard.

At the fine arts building, floors and ceiling tiles are being installed while sidewalks at the entrance are being poured.

Light poles are being installed in the CTE parking lot while the football field parking lot slab is complete.
