Stone County man killed

One of the victims from the helicopter crash was a resident of Wiggins. 55 year old Steven W. Cobb died of blunt force trauma. He was a U.S. Forest Service worker. Residents of Stone County are still reeling over the loss of the Wiggins resident.
The other victim, 40 year old Brandon Ricks died of smoke inhalation. The survivor of the crash, Brandon Mullen, sustained injuries but is expected to recover.
