Stone County jailer charged with having contraband at jail

A Stone County jailer has been charged in connection with an investigation into contraband coming into the Stone County jail.
26-year-old Bryan Rodgers was arrested Thursday and charged with possession of prohibited items by persons other than offenders. He is currently out on bond.
On January 10, correctional officers searched a county owned garbage truck at the jail and found contraband items. The truck was at the jail to return inmate workers.
An investigation revealed that Inmate Work Supervisor Bryan Rodgers had in his possession contraband items and allowed inmates to use, ingest or partake of the contraband that was found in the cab of his assigned truck.
