Stone County Economic Development Partnership honors MGCCC

Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College is receiving an award from the Stone County Economic Development Partnership.

MGCCC has been named Educator of the Year. The school says the recognition reflects the commitment to supporting the community.

They highlight how MGCCC came together with community partners to host a job fair when Hood Industries announced its closure, connecting those impacted with new opportunities.

MGCCC says they believe their mission extends beyond the classroom, saying they are proud to stand alongside the community and make a difference.
