Stolen car found burning in Harrison County

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department and the Harrison County Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating a car fire that happened in a wooded area on Huston Ladner Road near Twin Lakes.

Harrison County Fire Chief Pat Sullivan says the car was fully involved when a passerby discovered the fire.

An investigation was started and the car was found to have been recently stolen.

No one was injured and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
