Steven Palazzo challenges Mike Ezell to debate ahead of runoff election

Yesterday, Steven Palazzo and his team officially challenged Mike Ezell to a debate some time soon. This would be the first time the two will get together to debate.

Ezell responded last night to the challenge by saying “Yes. Let’s have a debate. We’ve already had four debates and Steven Palazzo didn’t show up to any of them. So, the real question is will he show up to this one?”

News 25 visited Sheriff Ezell today to find out what topics he expects to discuss during the upcoming debate with Palazzo. “We’ll talk about whatever comes up. You know, there are so many things going on right now in the country. We got border crisis, we got fentanyl coming across the border, we got illegal immigration, we got inflation, we got high gas prices, you know we got security law enforcement you know there’s a variety of things and I have no idea what the moderators will come up with, but we’ll go from there once we get there.”

So far, no official date has been made for the debate.
