Stepping Out On Faith

New Jersalem Baptist Church received an outcry of support after losing nearly everything in a building fire.

Songs of praise filled the good deeds community center Sunday afternoon as dozens gathered for a benefit concert.

The concert allowed the opportunity for people to make monetary donations toward rebuilding “New Jerusalem” while listening to various musicians and vocalist from along the gulf coast.

The church was forced to relocate services after an electrical fire cause 90-thousand dollars worth of damage to its building located on 23rd Avenue.
