Stennis Space Center tests RS-25 engine during ‘Blast into Summer’ event

NASA’s John C. Stennis Space Center tested an RS-25 engine during their ‘Blast into Summer’ event.

Stennis has done 11 of these tests throughout the last couple of months and next week’s test will be the last of a 12-test certification series.

These tests are designed to certify production of new RS-25 engines that will lead to future deep space missions, starting with Artemis V.

Today’s launch was extra special as employees shared their hard work with their families who got to watch the test.
