Stennis Space Center crews preparing for future Artemis tests
STENNIS SPACE CENTER, Miss. (WXXV)- NASA is providing an update on the progress Stennis Space Center employees are making when it comes to engine testing for the Artemis mission.
Right now, Stennis crews are working to activate gas systems for testing of new rocket stages at the Thad Cochran test stand.
The gas system activation marks a milestone for green run testing. The green run culminates with a hot fire test of four engines.
NASA Stennis crews are also working right now to simulate engines and flowing gases to test various conditions and collect data.
In total, 80 flow cases have been conducted.
