State treasury hosts unclaimed money event in Pascagoula

PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WXXV)- State Treasurer David McRae was in Pascagoula Wednesday afternoon, trying to return more than $17 million in unclaimed money to Jackson County residents.

Not only were people able to find out if they had unclaimed money lying around, but parents were also able to ask about college and career savings as well.
