State Senator Brice Wiggins announces run for state’s Fourth Congressional District

Republican State Senator Brice Wiggins announced his campaign for U.S. Congress to represent Mississippi’s Fourth Congressional district.

Wiggins currently represents District 52 in the State Senate, which encompasses parts of south Jackson County.

He’s also the current chairman of the Senate Judiciary A Committee and a member of the appropriations committee.

At his campaign launch party, Wiggins was surrounded by his support system including his wife, parents, and those who will help run his campaign as he travels throughout Mississippi to connect directly with those he plans to soon represent.  Wiggins said, “It’s about getting things done and people are sick and tired of platitudes. They’re sick and tired of politicians just saying whatever sounds good on TV and they want to see action and from the time I go into the Senate, when people told us you’re not going to be able to do that, we didn’t listen to them. We got in, rolled up our sleeves, and got busy and I’m proud of that.”

Primary and general elections for this race will be held in 2022.
