State of the Coast Symposium at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino

The fourth annual State of the Coast Symposium was held this morning at Beau Rivage Resort and Casino.

The Magnolia Ballroom at Beau Rivage was filled with more than 500 businessmen and women and city leaders for the State of the Coast Symposium.

The Gulf Coast Business Council event discussed the 2023 Economic Outlook with the help of keynote speaker Peter Ricchiuti.

Towards the end of the event, President and CEO of the Council Jamie Miller presented the first ever Rising Tide awards.

Representative John Read couldn’t help but get emotional when he was awarded the honor. “Being the first recipient of it really…you get emotional. I’ve been around for a while, and this is probably the pinnacle as far as receiving awards, and I’m very, very proud to have been chosen.”

Ocean Aero CEO Kevin Decker was also given a Rising Tide award for a private sector CEO.
