State leaders remember Hurricane Katrina

State officials remembering the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina 19 years later.

Governor Tate Reeves saying “When Mississippi gets knocked down, we come back stronger and more determined than ever.”

Congressman Mike Ezell saying “The resilience and courage of all Mississippi communities should be honored.”

He also said everyone stuck together to rebuild the communities all across the Coast and the rest of the state.

Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith taking a moment to remember the Gulf Coast and the rest of the Magnolia State. Hyde-Smith honoring the strength that emerged from the storm, saying Mississippians should celebrate how far we’ve come.
