State Hospital Association elects new chairman and chair-elect

The State Hospital Association’s Board of Governors have elected a new chairman as well as a new chair-elect.

John Anderson began his term on July 1, succeeding Jim Hobson as chairman for the next year.

Jessica Embry has been chosen as chair-elect, becoming the first woman to assume the role since 1983. Her term also began July 1.

Both bring years of hospital experience to the role. The board says they believe both will strengthen policies in the state.
