State flag prayer vigil
Bishop James Black of Faith Tabernacle of Praise in Biloxi is calling for a prayer vigil on the steps of the Biloxi City Hall at noon tomorrow.
Bishop Black is calling for the vigil in reference to the Mississippi state flag, stating it “represents the worst in mankind.”
At a City Council meeting last month, Ward 4 Councilman Robert Deming stated he would introduce a resolution at the council meeting tomorrow to counter Mayor Gilich’s executive order removing the state flag from city buildings.
Bishop Black is calling on the Gulf Coast community to join him on the steps of Biloxi City Hall tomorrow at noon.
