State AI Task Force schedule to hold meeting to discuss cybersecurity
Artificial Intelligence is changing the way we live, work, and play. The state legislature created the Mississippi Artificial Intelligence Regulation Task Force to study AI’s impact now and in the future.
The task force is holding public meetings on a variety of subjects and will issue reports to state leaders.
The critical issue of cybersecurity is the next topic up for discussion.
We talked to Dr. Kollin Napier, a member of the task force, about the upcoming cybersecurity meeting.
The 11-member task force will deliver annual recommendations to the legislature and is set to dissolve on December 31, 2027.
