Starting date for Amtrak Mardi Gras Service announced

GULF COAST, Miss. (WXXV)- Amtrak has announced the new starting date for the Mardi Gras Service across the Gulf Coast.

Amtrak announced that the start date for the new service will be August 18. Tickets are on sale now. Adult coach fares end to end start at $15 each, less for shorter distances. There are also discounts for children, students, seniors, veterans, military personnel, and other groups.

The Mardi Gras service route runs between Mobile, Alabama and New Orleans, Louisiana with four stops in Mississippi. Those four stops are in Pascagoula, Biloxi, Gulfport, and Bay St. Louis.
