Staged reading on early life of Fannie Lou Hamer being hosted
A special reading focusing on the life of voting rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer is happening at the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art at the end of August.

The play will focus on Hamer’s beginnings in rural Mississippi to her historic testimony at the 1964 Democratic Convention.
