St. Stanislaus high school 5-star kicker Evan Noel flips his college commitment to the Florida Gators

On Monday, Evan Noel flipped his commitment from the Arkansas to the Gators.

The St. Stanislaus kicker had previously verbally committed to the Razorbacks back in February. In September, Noel broke the Mississippi state high school record after drilling a 61-yard field goal. WXXV sports director Jevan McCoskey caught up with the five-star recruit on Tuesday and Noel broke down what went in to making the decision.

I went there to a game and I wanted to do it that day actually,” Noel said. “Ever since then I have been on my seat about going there. I just fell in love with it and my parents did too so I have been wanting to do it since then. I actually called the coordinator there first and he was super happy. He was wanting me to get on the phone with Napier ever since I told him. Napier was really excited too, he was really hyped up, so it was nice.”
