St. Stanislaus Basketball is headed to the Big House!

St. Stanislaus took on Port Gibson for the Class 3A Quarterfinals! Going straight to the goal was the junior Rafeal Cohen and he got the layup from the jump. Intercepting a Blue Wave pass was Tre Schwandt, he quickly broke to the goal and fed Coen right under the net and he finished it with two more.

This would go on to be a nail biter for all four periods, but the Rock-A-Chaws showed the north what they’re made of, defeating Port Gibson with a final score of 56-51. The Rocks are headed to the Big House and will play Booneville and Wednesday night with a 7:30 tipoff. WXXV Sports will bring you sights and sounds all next week from the Big House!
